Who are the herbal sisters?
The Herbal Sisters are two sisters on the same mission, combining their experiences and love for plant medicine to inspire and empower others on their own healing journey. They both qualified together at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Herbal medicine, Naturopathy and Iridology. They have been trained in using Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic practices in their clinic as well as various other diagnostic and therapeutic practices, such as bach flowers, tissue salts and naturopathic nutrition. With Devina’s medical background as a pharmacist, she is able to integrate her medical knowledge with naturopathic principles in the consultation room as your practitioner. Leena is the master formulator who will be preparing your medicine. She sources each herb and ingredient from the most organic cleanest places. She prides herself on creating high quality herbal medicines for each client.
What is herbal medicine?
Herbal medicine is made from plants and can be used therapeutically to rebalance and harmonise the mind, body and spirit. It has been used for thousands of years, even dating back to the times of ancient Egyptians, and also in all cultures and traditions around the world. An herbal preparation can be made from leaves, bark, roots, flowers, seeds and the fruit.
In our clinic we use herbal medicine as a powerful medicine to rebalance the body alongside a balanced diet plan and lifestyle. We have been trained predominantly on using European herbs but we also use various Chinese and Ayurvedic herbs in our clinic too. We tailor each herbal prescription to match your constitution and your meet your needs.
Leena is an experienced formulator and medicine maker. She prepares and energises the herbs to make them match your body, mind and spirit, so that you are in harmony with the medicine and the medicine can work easier for you. She uses unique techniques she has picked up over the years and continues to learn and perfect her medicine making at any opportunity.
The Consultation
Book through our website for a live 1 to 1 initial consultation on our virtual clinic platform.
In the consultation, Devina will be delving deep into your constitution to understand you better through questioning; covering all systems of the body, past medical history, and naturopathic diagnostic tests may be used too. Diagnostic tongue readings will be taken and if client needs further investigations they will be advised so. Together as a team, a plan and protocol will be devised to rebalance, heal and achieve optimum health.
A bespoke herbal preparation will be formulated with high quality, organic, practitioner grade herbs, prepared by Leena. This could be a tea, powder, tincture, ointment or cream. These will be posted to you after the consultation.
Please note: herbs are a separate cost depending on the plan.
A comprehensive treatment plan will be sent after the consultation. It will include instructions on how to take the medicine and advice on nutrition and lifestyle and other naturopathic treatments suggestions.

After six weeks return for a follow up appointment which you can book through our system. Here we will see what worked and what needs more work and adjust the treatment accordingly. As the body changes, the treatment is adapted to this change. The herbs are adjusted accordingly to the changes of energy of the body.
